For over 14 years, Paddle-N-More has provided summer job opportunities for local high school and college students. We take pride in fostering a fun, engaging, and supportive work environment, where many of our seasonal team members return year after year.

We specialize in rentals, lessons, guided trips, and kids’ camps across three beautiful locations in the Finger Lakes region:
- Myers Park (Lansing, NY)
- Taughannock Falls State Park (Trumansburg, NY)
- Stewart Park (Ithaca, NY)
What We Look for in a Team Member
We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals who can help provide an unforgettable outdoor experience for our guests. If you are:
- Customer-oriented and enjoy interacting with people.
- An excellent communicator with a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Responsible and proactive, taking initiative when needed.
- Physically capable, able to lift 40+ pounds and work outdoors all day.
- Flexible with scheduling, including weekends and major holidays.
General Job Expectations
- Outdoor Work: You will be working outside in various weather conditions, including heat, wind, rain, and cold.
- Physically Active Role: Many tasks involve lifting, moving, and handling kayaks, paddleboards, and other equipment.
- Teamwork is Essential: Our success depends on collaboration and mutual support among team members.
- Customer Service is a Priority: All positions are customer-facing and require a friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
- Commitment to the Full Summer: While we understand the need for occasional time off, we are unable to hire individuals who can only work for a short period (e.g., two weeks) and then leave for most of the summer.
Additional Requirements
- Limited personal cell phone use is expected during working hours to maintain professionalism and customer experience.
- CPR/First Aid Certification is required for Lead positions (training provided if needed).
