Summer Splash (Ages 9–15) – Stewart Park
Half-Day Kayaking & Paddleboarding Program
Summer Splash is a half-day paddlesports program designed for campers ages 9–15 who want focused time on the water in a shorter, active format. Campers learn kayaking and paddleboarding skills, explore the inlet area of Stewart Park, and take part in group paddles, water-based games, and hands-on environmental learning.
This program is ideal for campers who love being outdoors, enjoy movement and exploration, and prefer a half-day structure.
What the Program Includes
Kayaking & Paddleboarding Instruction
Campers receive guided instruction from trained ACA Paddlesports Facilitators in:
- Basic paddle strokes
- Maneuvering and balance
- Launching and landing techniques
- Reading water conditions
- Self-rescue basics
Instruction focuses on participation, comfort, and growing confidence on the water.
Environmental Exploration
Campers learn about Cayuga Lake and the surrounding environment through:
- Lake ecology discussions
- Responsible waterway use
- Leave No Trace approaches
- Observing wildlife and shoreline features
On-Land Activities for Wind or Weather Changes
When conditions push us temporarily off the lake, the program continues with:
- Outdoor games
- Creek exploration
- Nature journaling or drawing
- Under-shelter group activities
- Instructor-led challenges
Summer Splash remains active, engaging, and enriching regardless of conditions.
Schedule Options
Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Families may register for one session or choose both for a full-day experience.
Supervised Lunch for Full-Day Campers
Campers enrolled in both sessions may remain on-site for a supervised lunch from 12:00–1:00 PM.
Please send a lunch that does not require heating or refrigeration.

Stewart Park – Paddle-N-More Stewart Park Site
Located near the inlet, to the left of the Cascadilla Boathouse.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Morning Drop-Off: 8:45–9:15 AM
Morning Pick-Up: 12:00 PM
Afternoon Drop-Off: 12:45–1:15 PM
Afternoon Pick-Up: 4:00 PM
Daily sign-in and sign-out with photo ID is required.

Program Fee: $285 per session (AM or PM)
Payment plans are available.
Holiday, Early Bird, and Sibling/Multi-Camp discounts apply—but cannot be combined.
