AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION (ACA) Instructor Certification Courses

AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION (ACA) Instructor Certification courses are designed for individuals who want to teach kayaking and standup paddleboarding.

Our ACA certification courses in kayaking, canoeing, and standup paddleboarding are designed for those with intermediate to advanced paddling skills who want to teach. Led by ACA Instructor Trainers, each course includes two parts: the Instructor Development Workshop and the Instructor Certification Workshop, where participants teach in mock settings. Certification is awarded based on both paddling and teaching skills and is not guaranteed at any level.

To register, please download the full course PDF document, which includes all details, a list of essential items, and a tentative schedule. After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email with further instructions and an invoice. Allow up to a week for processing.
