This is a slow-moving, easy trip for novices, with a few areas of faster moving water to keep things exciting. Our river trips run from either Blodgett Mills to Marathon or from Marathon to Itaska, and follow the river as it winds through rural farmland and passes under several bridges in small towns until the take out. The beautiful landscape is punctuated by geese, ducks, and other wildlife.

snacks during the trip, and transportation from the take-out to the put-in location.

Taughannock Falls State Park Day Trip Description: Our experienced guides leave Myers Park and kayak or canoe roughly 45 minutes across Cayuga Lake to beautiful Taughannock Falls State Park. From the park’s beach, you can either relax and enjoy the view, or join us as we hike about a mile up the North Rim Trail to enjoy the view from the Falls Overlook. The trail is pretty steep, so please make sure your fitness level is appropriate for the trip! After we return to the beach, we will return 45 minutes back across the lake to Myers Point, making a roughly four hour trip. Standard rental prices apply. This trip is available with or without a PNM guide; for a PNM guide to lead your trip, there is an additional fee of $60. Although not required, we recommend using a guide, as our guides are specially trained in wilderness first aid and watercraft rescues in the event of a boat capsize or emergency on the water.
